Cellular Dynamics licensed from the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation to “create a pipeline that mass produces cells for large-scale drug screening campaigns at pharmaceutical companies and for regenerative medicine applications.” They declared their licensed exclusive rights to patent portfolio for the optimization of Stem cell differentiation, selection and use of heart cells for drug testing.
Madison licensed from Loren Field & IUPUI for two concepts of using Stem cells for drug testing: Cell purification strategy and use of stem cell-derived cardiomyocytes for drug testing.
Financial terms of the deal are not disclosed..
